See Material Changes in Your Own Checkout Failure Pattern
Payment failures are expected in every online business, but a sudden increase can indicate integration issues, provider incidents, configuration changes, or a shift in customer mix. Payment Failure Rate Monitor reads authorised aggregate event data from the merchant’s own systems or payment provider and compares the current ratio with a defined operational baseline.
Views can be segmented by provider, currency, market, or safely grouped decline category where the source permits. Minimum-volume rules reduce misleading alerts when only a few attempts occur. The monitor reports trends and statistical thresholds; it does not decide why an issuer declined a customer, retry transactions, or advise merchants to circumvent provider controls. Its role is to help the merchant notice and investigate a material change using its own legitimate payment activity.
Key capabilities
- Aggregate success and failure ratio tracking
- Minimum-volume and sustained-change thresholds
- Provider, currency, or market segmentation
- Safe grouped decline-category context
- Baseline history for release and incident review

Clear service information
This analytics product does not process payments, test cards, predict approval, or guarantee revenue. Customers must use authorised data, respect provider rules, and evaluate declines without exposing sensitive payment information.
Monitoring must only be configured for websites, systems, APIs, domains, servers or other digital assets that the customer owns or is authorised to test. Results reflect the configured checks and third-party network conditions; they do not constitute a guarantee of uninterrupted operation.
