This Acceptable Use Policy protects customers, monitored systems, third parties and the GamiTrend Software platform. It applies to every order, target, account, configuration, report and interaction with our website or service.

1. Authorised monitoring only

You may configure or request monitoring only for a website, domain, server, application, API, endpoint, certificate, network resource or other target that you own, administer or have explicit authority to monitor. Authority must cover the type, frequency and location of the requested checks.

You must not assume that public internet access creates permission to monitor. If reasonably requested, you must provide evidence of ownership, administrative responsibility or consent from the responsible owner. Permission must remain valid throughout the access period.

2. Lawful and responsible purpose

The service may be used for legitimate availability, performance, certificate, domain, endpoint, response and security-status observation within the purchased product’s scope. Use must comply with applicable law, contractual duties, acceptable-use rules imposed by the target’s provider and the rights of other persons.

You may not use monitoring results to facilitate unlawful surveillance, discrimination, harassment, deception, market manipulation, unauthorised access, intellectual-property infringement or another harmful act.

3. No vulnerability exploitation or offensive security activity

Unless a product expressly states otherwise in writing, our products are not penetration-testing or vulnerability-exploitation services. You must not use the platform to probe for exploitable weaknesses, enumerate private resources, execute payloads, bypass authentication, alter data, establish persistence or obtain access beyond that intentionally made available for the configured check.

Automated checks must not be modified or combined with other activity to perform reconnaissance against an unauthorised system.

4. No credential or authentication attacks

You must not use the service to test stolen credentials, guess passwords, conduct credential stuffing, brute-force authentication, intercept tokens, obtain session identifiers, defeat multi-factor authentication or access another person’s account. Login or authenticated monitoring may be used only where supported, necessary and expressly authorised by the account or system owner.

5. No denial of service or harmful traffic

You must not create traffic intended or reasonably likely to overload, degrade, disrupt or deny access to a target, provider, network or our platform. Prohibited conduct includes excessive request rates, amplification, resource exhaustion, repeated large transfers, malformed traffic and deliberate triggering of costly target-side operations.

Customers must respect rate limits and product limits. If a legitimate check creates unexpected load, notify us and the target administrator promptly and pause the relevant configuration where reasonably possible.

6. No malware or dangerous content

You must not upload, transmit, link to or use the service in connection with malware, ransomware, spyware, destructive code, phishing, command-and-control infrastructure, credential theft, malicious redirects or content designed to compromise a person or system.

Technical samples or indicators may be handled only where expressly supported, lawfully held and subject to controls appropriate to their risk.

7. Privacy and data minimisation

You must not configure monitoring to collect personal data beyond what is necessary for the legitimate check. Do not place passwords, secret keys, private certificates, health information, financial account data, special-category data or unrelated personal information in URLs, headers, expected-response values or support messages.

You are responsible for providing required privacy notices, choosing an appropriate lawful basis and respecting the rights of individuals affected by your own systems or monitoring configuration.

8. No evasion or circumvention

You must not hide the identity or origin of prohibited traffic, rotate targets to evade restrictions, defeat rate limits, interfere with logs, circumvent suspension, create replacement accounts after termination, or misrepresent the ownership or purpose of a target.

You must not instruct us to disregard a target owner’s lawful request, access restriction or documented monitoring prohibition.

9. Integrity of alerts and reports

You must not falsify, manipulate or selectively present monitoring results in order to deceive a customer, regulator, insurer, supplier or other person. Reports should be interpreted within their stated scope, time period, configuration and technical limitations.

You may not remove ownership notices, present our service as an independent certification, or claim that a result guarantees security, compliance or uninterrupted availability.

10. Account and access security

Keep access links, passwords and administrative details confidential. Use strong unique credentials and multi-factor authentication where available. Do not share access with an unauthorised person, resell an account, or permit use outside the purchased scope.

Notify support@gamitrendsoftware.com promptly if you suspect compromise, unauthorised target changes or misuse. You remain responsible for actions taken through access under your control until we have had a reasonable opportunity to respond.

11. Fair use and platform protection

You must not scrape the website, reverse engineer protected components, copy the service to create a competing product, interfere with another customer, exploit an error for unintended access, or consume resources substantially beyond the purchased limits.

Reasonable automated integration is permitted only where documented or agreed. We may apply technical safeguards to protect availability, prevent abuse and maintain fair access.

12. Restricted sectors and higher-risk use

Do not use the service for a target or activity that is unlawful, subject to sanctions, designed primarily for harmful conduct or reasonably likely to create serious risk to individuals without appropriate safeguards. Monitoring of critical, medical, emergency, financial or safety-sensitive systems should never be the sole control relied upon for life, safety or essential decision-making.

13. Investigation and cooperation

We may review relevant account, order, configuration and service records where reasonably necessary to investigate abuse, fraud, a security event, a target-owner complaint or a legal request. We may ask the customer to clarify the purpose and authority for monitoring.

Customers must cooperate honestly and promptly. We aim to limit review to information relevant to the concern and process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

14. Enforcement

Depending on severity and risk, we may warn the customer, require a configuration change, limit a check, temporarily suspend access, remove a target, cancel an order or terminate service. Immediate suspension may occur where activity threatens security, availability, legal compliance or a third party.

Where appropriate, we will provide notice and an opportunity to remedy. Serious or repeated violations, fraud, malicious activity or deliberate evasion may lead to termination without a refund, subject to mandatory consumer rights. We may preserve evidence and make disclosures where required by law.

15. Reporting abuse or an unauthorised target

A target owner or affected person may report suspected unauthorised monitoring to support@gamitrendsoftware.com. Include the target, relevant timestamps, the reporter’s relationship to the target and non-sensitive evidence. We may request verification before disclosing information or changing a configuration.

Shared responsibility: GamiTrend Software supplies monitoring tools. The customer remains responsible for lawful authority, safe configuration, target-side security and appropriate response to results.
