Know the Age of the Latest Available Backup Evidence

A job can report success while the destination contains no recent file, or an old backup can remain visible after new runs stop. Backup Freshness Monitor checks a narrow authorised source for the latest backup timestamp, object, snapshot, or recovery point and compares its age with the customer’s defined window.

The product works as a second observation layer alongside completion alerts. It can use provider metadata, a storage listing restricted to a backup prefix, or a signed status endpoint that exposes no backup content. Teams can assign different freshness limits to daily, hourly, and weekly protection workflows. History shows how the recovery-point age changes between runs and makes a missed generation cycle easier to recognise.

Digital delivery and access

This is a digitally delivered monitoring service. After successful payment and any required order verification, setup instructions are delivered electronically. The purchase includes 12 months of access for one authorised monitoring target unless the product page or order confirmation states otherwise. There is no automatic renewal.

Clear service information

Fresh metadata does not prove that a backup is complete, uncorrupted, secure, or recoverable. The monitor does not access backup contents by default and cannot replace restoration testing or recovery planning.

Monitoring must only be configured for websites, systems, APIs, domains, servers or other digital assets that the customer owns or is authorised to test. Results reflect the configured checks and third-party network conditions; they do not constitute a guarantee of uninterrupted operation.
